Overview

Flowmail is a keyboard-first email client. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. We store the profile information you see in the app, such as your name and email address.

OAuth tokens. We use Google OAuth and do not store passwords. We keep access tokens only to provide the email client functionality.

Technical data. We receive IP address and device information as part of normal requests. We do not intentionally log or store this information beyond what is needed to operate the service.

Error tracking. We use PostHog for error tracking. PostHog may collect diagnostic and device data to help us detect and fix issues.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Flowmail app and services.
  • Authenticate you via Google OAuth.
  • Maintain app performance and troubleshoot errors.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not store your passwords.
  • We do not send marketing or transactional emails.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Data Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to run Flowmail, such as PostHog for error tracking and Google OAuth for authentication. We do not share data for advertising purposes.

Data Retention

We retain account profile data and OAuth tokens only as long as your account is active and needed to provide the service.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account through the desktop app by opening the profile page. This will remove your stored profile data and tokens from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Flowmail is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the \"Last updated\" date above when changes are made.
